How you use it

Potting

5 gal (18.9 L) is the size most growers settle on for a 3x3 or 4x4. The steel top ring keeps the pot open while you fill it and while you train against it, and the grommets give the wire something to pull against.

Topping and bending

Top the plant, then clip each new branch out to the side as it comes. A hundred clips covers four or five plants from the first bend to the flip, with spares for the ones you move twice.

Holding

Anchor the wire into a grommet and pull a branch out. Later in flower the same wire ties heavy branches to each other so the buds hold themselves up instead of leaning.
