Our number one priority is the satisfaction of our customers. If something isn't right, we'll fix it. This page covers change-of-mind returns, damaged or incorrect orders, and refunds. Manufacturing defects are covered separately by our 12-Month Limited Warranty.

30-Day Returns

You have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return. To be eligible, your item must be unused, in its original packaging, and accompanied by your order number or proof of purchase.

To start a return, email hello@budtrainer.com. If your return is accepted, we will email you a return shipping label and instructions. For change-of-mind returns, the cost of the return label is deducted from your refund. If the return is due to our error or a defective product, return shipping is free. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

Inspect your order when it arrives. If your product arrived damaged, is defective, or isn't what you ordered, email hello@budtrainer.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the item and packaging, and a quick description. We resolve most of these claims from photos alone and will replace the item or refund you at no cost to you. If we need the item back to assess it, we will email you a prepaid return label at our expense.

If a product breaks after use, that isn't shipping damage; it may be covered by our 12-Month Limited Warranty instead.

Purchases from Retailers and Marketplaces

If you bought a BudTrainer product from a hydroponics store, garden center, or another retailer, returns and exchanges follow that seller's return policy, so contact them first. Our 12-Month Limited Warranty applies no matter where you bought the product from an authorized seller, and you can always claim it with us directly.

EU Customers

If you ordered from the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order at any time before it ships, and to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason for up to 14 days after receiving your order. To exercise this right, email hello@budtrainer.com or use your self-serve account at shopify.com/52855079112/account, and we will email you the return address and instructions. Send the items back within 14 days of telling us; you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We will refund you, including the standard shipping you paid on the original order, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, though we may hold the refund until we receive the items back or you provide proof of return shipment.

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds go automatically to your original payment method. Your bank or credit card company may take a few additional business days to process and post the refund. Items that arrive back at our facility used or damaged beyond their condition at delivery are not eligible for a refund.

Final Sale Items

Items marked as final sale or clearance at the time of purchase, and gift cards, cannot be returned for a refund. Defective products are always covered by our Limited Warranty, even when they were bought on sale or clearance.

Fair Use

BudTrainer reserves the right to decline return requests that violate the spirit or intent of this policy, including returns made in bad faith, repeat or excessive returns, and orders placed with the apparent intention of returning them.
