Who Processes Your Payment

  • Credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express: processed by Paysafe, operated by Merrco, an established payment processor that maintains PCI DSS compliance, the payment card industry's security standard.
  • PayPal: pay with your PayPal balance or a card linked to your PayPal account. We never receive your PayPal login credentials.

What We Never See

When you pay by card, your card details travel directly from your browser to the payment processor over an encrypted connection. BudTrainer never receives or stores full card numbers. We see only the card type, the last four digits, and the payment confirmation, which is what we need to support your order and process any refund.

Encryption and PCI Compliance

Every page of our store, including checkout, is served over an encrypted TLS (HTTPS) connection, which is the padlock you see in your browser's address bar. Our store runs on Shopify, which is certified Level 1 PCI DSS compliant, the highest level of certification available under the payment card industry's security standard.

Fraud Protection

Orders are automatically screened for fraud to protect both you and us. If you ever see a charge from us that you don't recognize, email hello@budtrainer.com before disputing it with your bank; we investigate fast and resolve genuine problems directly.

Discreet Billing and Packaging

Your order ships in plain, discreet packaging that doesn't advertise what's inside. The charge on your card statement will appear as [CONFIRM STATEMENT DESCRIPTOR, e.g., BUDTRAINER].
