BudTrainer 12-Month Limited Warranty
We build our products to survive real grows, and we stand behind them. Every BudTrainer product is covered by this Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects for 12 months. Most claims are approved from a few photos, and approved claims cost you nothing.
Who Gives This Warranty
This Limited Warranty is provided by BudTrainer Inc., 280 Joseph Street, Suite 2000, Kitchener, Ontario, N2G 4Z5, Canada. Questions and claims go to hello@budtrainer.com.
Who Is Covered
This warranty covers the original purchaser of a BudTrainer product bought from budtrainer.com, our official Amazon stores, or an authorized retailer or distributor. It is not transferable, and proof of purchase is required. Products bought second-hand or from unauthorized resellers are not covered.
What Is Covered
For 12 months from the date you receive your product, we warrant that it will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If a covered defect appears during that period, we will, at our option, replace the product or refund the purchase price. Where permitted by law, replacement or refund is your exclusive remedy under this warranty.
What Is Not Covered
- Normal wear and tear, including gradual cosmetic wear from regular use.
- Damage from misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, improper care, or use outside the product's intended purpose.
- Products that have been modified or altered.
- Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, or without proof of purchase.
How to Make a Claim
- Email hello@budtrainer.com with your order number or proof of purchase, photos or a short video of the defect, and a quick description of what happened. This applies wherever you bought the product, including Amazon and retail stores; you can also ask the retailer for help, but you never need their permission to claim with us directly.
- We resolve most claims from photos alone, usually within a few business days.
- If we need the product back to assess it, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label at our expense. You will never pay shipping on an approved warranty claim.
- If your claim is approved, we will ship your replacement or issue your refund right away. Refunds go to your original payment method and may take a few business days to appear, depending on your bank.
Limitations
To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties on this product, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the 12-month period of this Limited Warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
To the extent permitted by law, BudTrainer is not liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from any defect in the product or any breach of this warranty, including lost profits or the loss of plants, crops, or harvests. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Your Legal Rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or province to province. This Limited Warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights or legal warranties you have under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction. In Quebec, the legal warranty under the Consumer Protection Act applies in addition to this Limited Warranty and is not limited by it.
Returns Are Separate
This warranty covers manufacturing defects. If you simply changed your mind, our 30-day return policy may apply instead; see our Refund Policy for details. If your order arrived damaged in transit, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will make it right at no cost to you.
